This is my interpretation of a Grey Warden’s Calling based on in game references, codex entries, concept art and passages from the Dragon Age novels. As a dedicated and loyal fan for over 10 years, I have been itching to do a Dragon Age makeup. When collaborating with my model and costume designer, Trevor, I sent them home with an armful of books with every reference to the Grey Wardens, Darkspawn and the Calling bookmarked. It was important to me that they understood the background, subtext and design language of this look so that we could accurately pull it off. I’m extremely pleased with the finished result.
