Model: Trevor Kleist

When I saw that Ross Marquand was going to be a guest at SCC I knew I needed to create a zombie. I love his character, Aaron, so much and wanted to create a look as a love letter to The Walking Dead. It also gave me the perfect opening to gather my courage and speak with Ross. I was inspired by the color palette and unstable movement from The Last of Us infected. I took this as a chance to push my skills and really show out for the con by using 8 silicone transfers. The total look took about 5 hours. I knew that with Trevor’s erratic movements and creepy vocalizations he would be the perfect model. While planning for the con Trevor and I spoke about the inspiration, movements and color palette. He did a great job creating and distressing his costume. I love any chance I get to collaborate with Trevor. I can always trust that he will bring my designs to life and add that special something.
