This gritty clown look is a collaborative effort between myself and Avery Peck. I originally designed this costume for a wrap party at Heartstoppers Haunted House. I fell in love with the cranky, sad clown persona I adopted and felt it needed to be preserved in some way. Avery recalled a tagged-up overpass in Auburn from his childhood, and we agreed that it matched the character perfectly. Attempting to be inconspicuous while in clown makeup is one of the more amusing and difficult things I have ever attempted to do but we managed to pull it off.
